Our CWYP youth delegates all made it to Samarkand, Uzbekistan and have started participating in the events and dialogues at the 8th Global Environment Facility (GEF) Assembly!

GEF financing is vital to the onground implementation of the chemicals and waste treaties across countries and regions.

This Assembly is expected to see the launch of a new GEF Youth Network, to which CWYP will be a founding member constituency, and boost financial allocations for the chemicals and waste focal area. Our delegates will be weighing in on this at the Assembly and much more!
